Ben joined Olthuis van Ert after completing his articles with the British Columbia Ministry of Attorney General, and is developing a general practice in civil litigation with a particular focus on public and administrative law. Before attending law school at the University of British Columbia, Ben obtained a Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management from Carleton University and worked as a policy analyst at an environmental non-governmental organization. In August 2026, Ben will begin a clerkship at the Federal Court of Canada in Ottawa.
