Ramisha has a general practice in public law and civil litigation with a particular focus on administrative and regulatory matters. She is also developing a practice in commercial litigation. Before joining Olthuis van Ert, Ramisha clerked at the Federal Court of Canada and articled in criminal defence. In her early career, Ramisha worked as a journalist at several national news organizations.

Selected case
Vancouver Island University v. Kishawi, 2024 BCSC 1609: Ramisha acted for an intervenor, the Centre for Free Expression, which focused its submissions on applying the Charter to university decision-making and property.
Ramisha has worked on a wide range of private law matters, including contract disputes, negligence claims, and civil forfeiture proceedings for the BC government.
Selected case
Nesbitt v College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, 2024 BCSC 1661: Ramisha was junior counsel to Jeff Hernaez in this successful application to strike a civil claim alleging negligence, intimidation, and bad faith.
Ramisha is developing a broad practice in commercial litigation, including corporate governance matters, shareholder disputes, and contract claims.
